How is January over already? I probably didn’t notice it passing by, because I was doing the Whole 30, and crying silent tears over not being allowed to eat ice cream.

The other day, I was thinking about when I first heard jungle/dnb, back in ’94. It was courtesy of my younger sister, who was still living at home in London, while I was in America. I came back to America after summer holidays, trying my damndest to get a hold of all the Kool FM recordings possible. I was fortunate that my cousins used to send me tapes every once in a while, but it was really due to the different crews and djs that I met along the way, that I was able to stay up to date with the latest tunes, before I started djing and getting them for myself.
