I am a huge Satl fan. This whole EP with him and Brandy Haze is soooo good. I can’t lie though, I was hoping “On Site” would be on this EP. I’ve been obsessed with that track for a minute now. I’ll keep waiting for it’s release, but in the meantime the LA Fling EP is 🔥🔥🔥.

One of my favourite Whitney Houston songs is “Heartbreak Hotel” with Faith Evans and Kelly Price. The way Reuben sings the chorus is similar to the cadence of the chorus in “Heartbreak Hotel” and I love it! I really enjoy his tunes. I played Subtle to death too when it came out. 🥰
Excited for summer activities… when summer finally makes it’s way here to LA that is. We survived May Gray, just gotta tolerate June Gloom, and we’ll be home free. Took a while to get used to this when I first moved here.

Headed to hot ass Arizona for my niece’s graduation this weekend. Also managed to get a pretty cheap plane ticket for Sun and Bass this year. The end of 2023 until about 2 months ago was pretty shit for me. I’m happy things seem to be on the up and up lately. 🥰

I went to Minneapolis last weekend to celebrate my friend Monica’s 50th bday. I had such a lovely trip. My wonderful group of friends pitched in and bought my plane ticket to surprise her. And surprised she was. It was a fab weekend.
Minneapolis always has my heart because my core group of friends are from there. I spent 8 really great years there. I am a person that values friendship immensely and I always say that that is the place that taught me how to be a good friend. 🧡
There was a day party on Sunday and I saw a bunch of old rave friends that I legit hadn’t seen since I left back in 2002. Good times.
Memorial Day weekend is here. I am not doing anything special since I just got back from a little jaunt. Job is going great. Really enjoying it. Not much to complain about these days. I keep saying it seems like someone finally took the pins out of my voodoo doll, so life has been pretty nice lately. 😜

I actually wasn’t going to go. I’ve seen him loads and didn’t really want to pay. I also had to be at work at 7am today. But, I changed my mind and am super glad I did. He opened with Golden Girl. 😢
