I may have bitten off a little more than I can chew with this new project I’ve taken on, but I feel motivated to get it done. “Go Keeks!” π¬π©π

Sometimes I have irrational anger towards bad remixes. π I didn’t make it so there’s no reason to get so angry. SMH.
I just feel like if you are going to take the time to remix something, do it well! Do the original justice while also giving us a new take.
Anyway, SATL bringing the goods on this refix sparked joy on the elliptical this morning.
Restrictions are being lifted and people are ready to let loose. My calendar is starting to fill up! Everyone wants to make up for lost time and I’m here for it. π₯°π₯°π₯°
Starting my a.m. off with this Loz mix. So many good tunes! π
I’m always trying to make the perfect playlist. I make so many and never listen to them. I finally listened to one on the drive down to see my family. I was like “This is so good!” Like I didn’t spend hours putting it together. π
Love this banger:
Lots of annoying brain activity this morning. Basically zoning out to Edlan and trying to be at peace .
I really like this EP.
It’s 7am and I’m writing the 3 tests for today that I’ve put off all week.
Procrastination is a crap trait. I think at this point, it’ll just be with me for the rest of my life. π
I didn’t really listen to this when it came out, but I was listening to Loz & Myras’s show this week and Myras played a couple of tunes from it. I’m totally feeling it.
Good vibes. π₯π₯π₯
Degs – Mixtape Sprayout Vol. 2
Procrastinating on lesson planning. Continuing my French dnb dudes obsession and listening to this:
I’m trying my best to be in charge of setting the tone for my day. I pick a song that puts me in a good mood and it helps me begin my day on a good note.
I’m such a Leo Wood fan. Her vocals are always on point. I do love a good Phaction tune too. This one came out at the end of February. π§‘
I can’t believe it’s been 5 months since my dad passed. Some of the months have been bearable, some unimaginably unbearable.
I’m just coming out of a depression room funk. You know those ones where if you look around your room it 100% reflects your state of mind.
Anyway, it’s Saturday. I’m cleaning, doing laundry and listening to Waeys. I’m a new Waeys fan. Had no clue who he was before, but now I definitely do. I dig his style. Starting my morning off with this tune below. Loving the Duskee vocal too. π€©
I love a growly bassline that lets you ramp up your treadmill/elliptical workout. I just zone out, vibe and sweat my troubles away. π₯°
We all know I’m a creature of habit. I listen to pretty much the same dnb peeps on the regular, but I have def enjoyed adding people like Monty and Visages to the rotation.
13 years with DnB & Kiki and 20 years blogging. That’s bonkers.
I’ve thought about deleting this blog many times, but I kinda like that it’s always there when I want to wax poetic about dnb. π₯°π₯°π₯°
Listening to some Monty to try and liven up this dreary day.
I’ve been wondering what this tune was for ages. I heard it on an Alix Perez mix last summer and didn’t for the life of me know what it was. I love Visages. This tune is dope. It’s on the Dark Guru EP on 1985 Music. I also really liked the track Egotrip. π
