Have a quiet moment to myself while the fam took the kiddos to Disneyland.  The pics look like they’re having fun, but I really and truly was not interested in going. LOL

Been working so much the past couple of weeks that I just need a moment to myself to excel at napping, watch a bunch of TV, and just chill the fuck out.

I’m mad clumsy.  I trip over any, and everything.  I tripped yesterday, and I thought I just stubbed my big toe, but now I think I sprained it.  It’s difficult to walk, and hurts like a mofo.  I’m just sitting at work sulking, wincing and listening to old, pretty dnb tunes.

Obsessive Kiki

I have an unhealthy habit of obsessively listening to tunes on repeat.  I doubt I’m the only one, but it does seem a bit cuckoo at times.  Itunes is already snitchin’ on how many times I’ve listened to Drake’s “Blem” 😁  I don’t want to divulge how many times I’ll repeat a song, cuz it might bring forth the white coats, but just know it’s a tad ridic. 

I do the same thing with artists I like.  (Real talk though, doesn’t everyone?)  I’ll go through a period of time where I’m listening to them, and only them.  I’ve been doing that a lot with Loz Contreras lately.  I have about 5 mixes that I’ve been rotating in my car for the past two weeks.  Make that six, I’m adding this one. 😉

90’s R&B is where it’s at yo.  So many good tunes.  I remember being soooo obsessed with Jodeci.  Really though, who wasn’t back then?  I woke up this a.m. wanting to listen to Jodeci, but it’s too slow to make me run on the treadmill, so Alix Perez and Specific’s “Love Bug” was just as satisfying. 😆
