I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week. I love getting to hang out with my family. I’m very much looking forward to a little r&r. My work has been so busy. It’ll be nice to just laze around with the fam, watch TV and stuff my face.
This isn’t a long post. I really just wanted to write about Fox’sWoi to the World EP. I thought I wrote about it already, but I didn’t and I’m obsessed. I’ve had the tracks on repeat for the past 2 weeks. Last week it was all about Revellin’ and this week I guess it’s all about ICU. I’ve listened to that track like 5 times today already. Great EP. 🔥🔥🔥
Super duper late, but anyway, yes, I went to the TNQ night at Amsterdam Dance Event last month. I had so much fun! It was great to see Greg, and Flight was there as well. I hadn’t seen her in ages. It was nice to catch up. Me and my old lady raver bones lasted the whole night! Great sets all around.
I was in London to wrap up the last of my dad’s estate situation. It was nice to get a mini break from the sadness and go rave and hang out with friends and listen to great tunes. 🥰
Also got to check out Kool FM while I was in London. Me and Kathy went to keep Alicia company during her show. As a long time jungle raver, getting to go hang at Kool FM was pretty dope. Alicia had a great set as always and I kept say to the ladies how fun it was just to sit in a room, hang out with friends and listening to dnb really loudly. I mean I do that on my own all the time, but it was nice to do it with my friends. 😊
I love having the Kool FM/Rinse FM app. I listen to great mixes constantly. Not sharing a mix today, but I am currently obsessed with these 2 tunes and have had them on repeat for like 4 days. I had definitely heard both of them before on some other mixes, but didn’t know who they were by. I hyper-fixate like nobody’s business. I’ll write down which mix I heard a tune on and the minute count so I can keep going back to trainspot it until I know who it’s by. 😂

Headed to New Jersey this weekend. Going to spend Thanksgiving with my brother and my whole family is going to be there. That hasn’t happened in a while. I’m super excited about it. Happy Turkey Day to those of you that celebrate. 🦃🦃🦃

Received some bad news about my father’s estate. Can’t believe we’re coming up on 2 years and this person is still causing all this trouble. I can’t even imagine what it will be like when I get to grieve my dad properly.
I am happy I am going to Sierra Leone for Christmas. I know we say our loved ones are always with us, and I do believe he is, to some extent. I just feel like his energy will be stronger in his resting place. That’s his home. I have a hard time with him not being buried in a place I can go visit regularly.
It’s crazy that there’s only 6 more until the end of the year. 😐
Lenzman and Submorphics played this Calibre on the most recent Echobox Radio show and I forgot how much I love this tune. Gonna have to put it in rotation for a bit. 🥰

Super excited about Thanksgiving next week. I love the holiday season (who doesn’t?) and I love that Thanksgiving kicks off the barrage of craziness that follows for the next month.
Currently got the homie Submorphics’ InnerSoul Promo mix on repeat. I’m moving on the 1st so I listened to it while I packed up some boxes, listened again while I graded some papers and now I’m listening again as I plan my lessons. So good! 😍😍😍
