I’m forever making dnb remixes of r&b tracks in my head.

I’m having an r&b morning as I clean and I just felt like having a The Weeknd appreciation moment.  My r&b morning playlist has in actuality just consisted of me listening to The Weeknd songs on repeat.  I forgot how much I love love love “High For This.”  I know it’s old but when has that ever stopped me?  Everyone knows that I stay listening to the oldest songs ever like they came out yesterday. 🙂

 

And just for good measure lets have a flashback moment to remind oursleves how awesome this Qumulus rework was. ❤

Is it normal that I like all my activities to have soundtracks?  LOL.  Yesterday’s laundry, cleaning and cooking adventures were scored by the one and only Hybrid Minds.  Dude, this mix is dope.  Listen to it. 

I’ve seen a lot of vines where people show what it’s like cleaning and doing your chores without music and what it’s like with music and that was totally me yesterday. 🙂

Logistics – Polyphony

After I posted that Logistics tune, I realised that I never said anything about the Polyphony album even though I’ve been listening to it non-stop for the past couple of months.  September was  a super busy month for me so I’ve been busy living in dnb lala land and just listening to tunes and doing work.

Anyways, I love it, the album I mean.  Some really good tunes on there.  I started out just buying a couple of tunes and ended up buying pretty much the whole thing.  

When Now More Than Ever came out, I caned that thing to death and still listen to a lot of tunes off that album regularly.  I get super obsessed with an artist and play them until I get sick of them.  Some of them I don’t seem to get sick of (see Calibre, Lenzman etc … the artists that you are probably sick of me posting mixes of.) and others I have a minor falling out with and sometimes revisit.  

I haven’t listened to Logistics for a super long time.  Lemme rephrase that, I haven’t listened to new Logistics stuff in a super longtime.  I’ll play Together or The Great Drum & Bass Swindle (Life is Beautiful) remix or anything from back in the day like it came out yesterday. 

I don’t think I actually have a fave on the album cuz I seem to like most of the songs equally but here’s No Hurry Time anyway. 🙂

Man, the school year is officially underway.  I am uber busy, but enjoying it.

I’m sure most of you will be excited to see me post someone new!  You know if I had my way I would just keep posting the same 5 artists I listen to all day every day.  LOL.  Fortunately for you, my good buddy Stunna turned me on to a different dude named Lurch and I’m totally digging his stuff.

Summer Jams

Summer is coming to an end.  School has started.  I’m sitting in the office grading summer vacation journals.  The weather is gorge today.  The window is open and there is a  lovely breeze coming through the window.  I’m listening to this sick Sinistarr remix of Random Movement’s “Dancing Feat” and reading the students’ hilarious journals.

Dude.  This track is everything today.  LOL.   I love when you are in the mood for a song and you just feel like pressing repeat a bunch of times cuz you are vibin’ so hard.

Back In The World of Internets

Anyways, school officially starts tomorrow.  Gotta get introduced to the school as the new ALT and all that jazz.  In the meantime I’m not actually listening to anything new, just cleaning, making worksheets and listening to old faves.  It’s not hard to be productive when you’ve got Matrix playing in the background. 🙂
