This song is horrible.  I know this but I still love it.  I’ve already told you that I have no qualms about admitting my penchant for bad music.

Woot.  I am so happy about the  good weather we’ve got coming up.  It’s supposed to 68 today and then in the 80s this weekend.  Everything just seems so much more fun when the sun comes out to play.

Speaking of nice weather, you now have no excuse but to trek to Smart Bar and come see your locals play tonight if you live in the Chi.  I’m excited.  It should be fun.  It’s me, Lamebrane, Zew and Phantom 45.  Come out!

Back To The Grind

I actually had a really jam packed weekend.

Friday night I just hung out with Joy and we ate food and watched tv.  Nice and chill.

Saturday I was an overachiever.  It was absolutely gorgeous and in the 70s so I think I must have felt motivated.  I did loads and loads of laundry, went running, made a cake,  donated a bunch of old clothes and stuff to the church next door to my house, hung out with Reisha and made a fancy pants lunch and drank margaritas, mixed records for like hours upon hours, hung out with Rocko and then djed with Dan at his night at Old Oak Tap later on in the night.  Told ya I was an overachiever.

Sunday was rainy rainy rainy but I still managed to have a nice time going to breakfast with Amy and Jessica, then cozying up on the couch and watch a ridiculous amount of tv, then around 4ish went for tea and desserts with Melissa and then went to Reggie’s surprise bday party later that night.

All in all you would have thought I was actually an interesting fun person this weekend, instead of my usually boring boring boring old cow self. 😉  Good times.

I’m really not feeling well.  I’m not really one to medicate every ailment but yesterday I was not in the mood to feel like crap so I took some.  It made me feel shitty all day and I went home straight after work and went to bed.  Today we are at round 2 and I still feel horrid but will have to grin and bear it cuz I refuse to take medicine. 😦  Whine, whine, whine.  Bah, you have to get a good whinge in every once in a while right?

Rainy Season

Isn’t it supposed to rain a bunch in April?  I love the rain.  I would much prefer rain to grey, murky skies.

Went to Wisconsin yesterday to hang out with my mum.  I like hanging out with my mum.  It’s fun to become and adult and actually enjoy spending time with your parents.

I’m really behind on listening to mixes so I’m just catching up.  One I’m caning right now is Sinistarr’s March mix.  Really great track selection.  Love it.
