What a week. So so so much fun. My time in Sardinia has come to an end. I had a fab week with great people and great music.

The past 4 years since my dad died haven’t been the greatest. Things finally started to turn around when I got an awesome new job in April. It’s been lovely to go on holiday and just eat great food, listen to the music I enjoy, and spend time with top notch people.

Sun and Bass has been amazing. I met Stefano in Chicago back in 2008 when he was there for a work training. I love that I was finally able to make it to his event, albeit it 16 years later. 😂

Biggest thanks goes to my gal pal Alley Cat. She let me tag along as her plus one and was a stellar raving buddy/roommate for the entire week. Special shouts to Workforce, Skeptical, and Klute. Our little party crew for those first 3 days was elite. Also getting some lady hangz in with Chickaboo was A1 too. I got to party with my LA dnb crew and meet up with some people that I’ve known for ages, but never met in person. Everything was wonderful. 🥰

I don’t want to make this post too long. So many great sets were heard and just good vibes all around. I had a fantastic time and appreciate that I got to join the Sun and Bass massive this year.

And just like that, another year goes by.

Chin Chin to 14 years! This is a blog I try to delete regularly, but it continues to be a much needed gift of catharsis for my poor addled brain.

I went to bed at 8:15 pm on a Friday night. Looks like AARP will have a new member sooner than later. 😂

Now it’s 3:12 am and I’m up and wide awake, doing my homework and listening to tunes.

I already listened to the new Zero T album and now I’ve moved on to a little Artificial Intelligence.

Fingers crossed I fall back asleep easily.

2018 was good to me and I’m excited for all the things 2019 has in store. 

I’ve been busy as hell, hence the radio silence on my end.  I drove from California to Wisconsin for Christmas.  My niece moved to Wisco to go live with my mum, and we needed to get her car there.  When I drove from Wisco to Cali it was quite a disaster,  but this time around it was all smooth sailing. 

I had a great Christmas and New Year. Back in LA now, and just and doing what I do. 😍

Happy New Year! … yeah it’s 12 days late.  I was so sick over the holiday and spent six days being bloody miserable.  Now all of a sudden it’s January 12.  smh

I was so happy to see this Dj Flight mix when it got uploaded.  I meant to post it earlier but as I said, I was too busy overdosing on cold medicine. I’m def keeping it in rotation for the moment. 😍

Blog bday!  7 years.

I stopped doing my livejournal blog in 2008.  I decided that I was always “all in my feelings” in those blog posts and real talk…, nobody could possibly care that much about my thoughts.

I took a year off and then started this one.  I made the decision to blab A LOT less about my life and just talk about how much I love drum n bass.  I figured that would make me only mildly annoying.

I was just telling Kate that between my livejournal and my wordpress, I have now been blogging for 14 years.  That’s crazy.

I’m celebrating this 7th bday with this wonderful Total Science mix that they did for the Sun & Bass Podcast.

Oh Sun & Bass pretty please, don’t stop being in existence before I actually manage to be able to go. 😛
