Okay not really, but a high of 58 is so exciting!  I’m just so ready to hang up my peacoat/winter coat.  It’s supposed to rain for most of the day but that still doesn’t bother me with a high of almost 60.  Also I’m too stingy to spend money on a carwash and so I’m excited that my car won’t be that dirty anymore.  Juju was in my car recently and was like “Are your windshield wipers not working?”  LOL.  That’s how dirty my car is.  There’s just a layer of muck permanently stuck there.  Hopefully the rain helps it not be so ugly and filthy.

Caleb & Kiki

I’ve been recording mixes at my friend Caleb’s studio for the past 3 years.  He has a really nice studio.  I always entitle them Caleb’s Party Mix No. whatever.  I have about 25 of them.  They are listening mixes, not ones for people to jam out to.  The best advice anyone ever gave me when I was first learning to mix was to constantly record yourself just to know how you sound so it’s something I do on a regular basis.  It has helped me immensely.  Anyways as I was cleaning out my car the other day I found all of them and have been listening to them non stop.  Right now I’m immersed in dnb circa 2006.  Woot.

I mixed this one this weekend.  I already told you about my obsession with Jodeci so I definitely loved this track since it samples a little bit of  Come Up To My Room featuring Tha Dogg Pound.  It’s definitely a nasty song but whatever I still love it.  Dope.

The internet was down all day at work.  Thank god I’d saved the draft before it went down.  Everyone was losing their mind.  Try working in an office from 9 to 5 with no internet.  Yeh.  Not fun.  Dunno how people did it before. 🙂

Bass Goes Boom tonight.  Headhunter.  Should be fire.

I’m kinda out of it.  I went to bed really early and then woke up at 1 a.m. because I really can’t sleep more than 4 hours.  Did some laundry, did the dishes, cleaned my room, then went back to sleep from 430 a.m. to 6 a.m.  Which is all fine and dandy but now I’m cracked out.  I really have to figure out how to sort out my sleep pattern.

Friday means what??  Spinn of course.  If you missed it go to his site and get the archive.  Good good ish.

I’m in planning mode.  I’m having a bday party at my house and am trying to get my self sorted.  I want it to be fun but not crazy.  I’m too old for crazy.

Heard this one on Spinn’s show today.  Pretty hot.
