So the past couple days I’ve been in straight party mode.  That’s what summer is about I guess, right?  I’m the brokest person out there but I still manage to have my fun without actually having money to spend.  LOL.

Me and Daniela went to see Skream and 12th Planet on sunday at Green Dolphin and that party was awesome.  Rusko was still around from Lollapalooza so he and Skream tagteamed.  Really good time.

I had such a  fun time at the dubstep show that I’m gonna post a dubstep mix today instead of a dnb one. 🙂

Where did this week go???  Is today really friday?  I have been working non-stop.  Today is an extremely long day.  I gotta go help the girls with the sets in like 30 minutes then working at Smallbar Division all day and then go to Smallbar Fullerton at night.  No rest for the wicked right?

Um… Clean your room.  LOL.

I think I write about this quite frequently but I just don’t understand why I choose to put my clothes on the floor!  It’s weird cuz I’m not dirty, just a bit disorganized and only in my bedroom.  The rest of our place is spotless.  I only believe in being messy in your own space,  not communal spaces.  I agree that a cluttered mind ends up in a cluttered living space.  I’m not messy all the time.  I’ll go ages with having a spotless bedroom and then the second something is on my mind I become Miss Messy.  *shrugs*  I’ll clean it tomorrow.  I’m sure you don’t feel like hearing anymore about my bad living habits.  😉

I’m going back to teach another workshop today at the girls camp.  It’s really fun to see young girls into electronic music.

I’m actually pretty excited today.  I’ll be teaching a workshop to some young girls at this camp.  The program is called Girls Rock! Chicago.  I think this is so cool.  I would have been so ecstatic if this was available when I was younger.  This is the first year that they are adding a Dj workshop to the music camp.  I’m extremely grateful that I get to be part of it.

I’ve been loving this tune for a minute.  I’m not as crazy about the dnb version but this version is definitely fire.  Nice club/party banger. ❤

Cleaning Lady Kiki

It’s amazing how easy it is for one’s space to get messy.  I’m an adult and yet I still manage to sometimes have a bedroom that looks like a 14 year old lives there.  *smh*  Why I find it necessary to put my clothes on the floor is still a mystery to me.

I’ve been doing custodian style cleaning all day.  Our place is all hardwood floors so dust bunnies take up residence frequently.  Anyways, I’m sure me cleaning my home is the last thing on your mind.  I’m leaving for Minneapolis tomorrow.  I’ll try and update, but if I don’t, have a nice weekend. 🙂

The best part about living in a big city in the summer is the nonstop activities.  I feel like this summer is endless and I love it.  That’s prolly why when the summer comes to an end everyone is disappointed.  There is just a ridiculous amount of things to do.  It’s awesome.

This weekend seemed so long.  I had a blast.  Pitchfork was great.  You can’t beat outdoor drinking and music for 9 hours.  Judy’s bday was lovely.  You also can’t beat good times with friends. ❤ Judy
