The day before you go anywhere always consists of running around trying to get your shit together.  This is what I’m spending my day doing.  I am also currently tearing my room apart trying to find my travel plug so I don’t have to buy a new one.  I’m off to London tomorrow.  I plan on writing while I’m there but I might take the rest of this week off, we’ll see how the jet lag goes.  Toodles for now.  Mwah. ❤

I’m in Madison aka Madtown.  Drove early this morning.  It’s only a 2 hour drive and since I wake up at ridiculous times I figure it’s best just to head out cuz there’s no traffic and it’s just me, dnb on my stereo and pitch blackness.  Love it.

I’ve resorted to my high school self today and have loafed around, eaten all the food in my mum’s fridge and watched tv.

Maybe I just needed a week to be lazy. 😉  I have a new approach to this week and I’m excited about it.  No more slacking.  I don’t think the slothy attitude type is becoming at all.

I have had an awesome weekend.  My Oliver Twist bank account status has made my friends take pity on me and treat me to some really yummy meals.  I got to spend time with Kathy and her bf Matt as well as my friend Jon and just partake in some really fun activities.

The Dj Rap show was fine.  I had a good set but there wasn’t really that many people there.  The important part was the people that mattered were there so that was fine.  I have good buddies and that makes me happy. 🙂

Back 2 School Kiki

On the way back from the gym this a.m. I saw all the little kiddies with their parents waiting for the school doors to open.  It seems so early to be getting taught anything but I guess I haven’t been in school for a while so that’s why it seems ridiculous to have to pay attention to anyone talking to me at 7:30 a.m.  I actually am one of those people that really likes school.  If I could sort it out I would definitely go back and get my masters.

Did you guys listen to that Stanza mix I posted?  I’ve been listening to it for the past couple of days.  Good ish.  It’s been on steady treadmill rotation.  Woot.

Love this one too. I really dig the melody. You could get a serious head nod going  to it, kinda like in About A Boy when the main character Marcus closes his eyes when he’s singing and Hugh Grant gets annoyed.  😉   I could imagine myself lying on a blanket in the park reading a book with this as my soundtrack. Why do all of my images consist of me daydreaming lazily??? LOL.

I’m really not feeling well.  I’m not really one to medicate every ailment but yesterday I was not in the mood to feel like crap so I took some.  It made me feel shitty all day and I went home straight after work and went to bed.  Today we are at round 2 and I still feel horrid but will have to grin and bear it cuz I refuse to take medicine. 😦  Whine, whine, whine.  Bah, you have to get a good whinge in every once in a while right?

Submorphics is trekking across the pond  for the next six months so we’re having a little Chitown dnb posse going away dinner at the hot spot Wing Hoe.  I’m excited cuz I’m totally in a Wing Hoe mood and will definitely indulge in a signature scorpion drink.  Yum.
