I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m not really into Halloween.  It’s not that big in England and when you go 14 years without celebrating it, it’s hard to just jump in and start getting excited about dressing up.  I’ve dressed up once in my life and that was cuz my friends in Minneapolis bullied me and said that they wouldn’t give me a ride to the party if I didn’t.  LOL.  This year though I actually kinda feel like I might want to participate and dress up.  I went to a Halloween shop to see how much accessories and crap would cost if I decide to go with the idea I have in mind and dang… That ish is expensive.  I was made fully aware of how much Halloween costs if you decide to go balls out.  *shrugs*  We’ll see if I decide to go through with the whole dressing up thing.

I raked leaves this past weekend, I’ve been wearing a light coat for the past couple of days… It’s official peeps, Autumn is here.  I love it.  This is my fave time of the year.  I love the greyness, I love that it’s cold but not too cold.  I love wearing a hoodie and feeling cozy.  ❤

Had a lovely time at home with my mum and Nima.  I think it’s funny that every time I go home my mum has me do some chore.  I don’t really complain cuz she lives in that huge house by herself and can’t do everything.  The humour is just in the fact that I live a regular adult life when I’m not by my mum and then the second I get home it’s… “Can you help me rake the leaves today?”  LOL

My car stereo is broken.  This is not ok.  I hate the radio.  All the radio stations are rubbish.  I need to find someone to fix it for me.

Before I post my regular dnb stuff, I just want to give Eyedea a shout out.  I lived in Minneapolis for 8 years.  I was very much a part of the music scene there.  At that time that I was there everyone was friends with everyone and collaborated to throw events and what not.  I participated in and frequented many Rhymesayers events.  I wasn’t really good friends with him or anything like that but we had many encounters and he was a really lovely person.  He was extremely talented and will definitely be missed.

You Get What You Pay For Kiki

I don’t mean that in a bad way at all.  It’s actually just an honest observation.

I used to belong to this fancy pants gym.  I got a ridiculous discount through my adidas insurance and have been there for the past 3 years because for some reason they never realised that I stopped working at adidas ages ago.  I guess membership there is 100 bucks a month and I was only paying 30.  They have employees that wipe down the machines for you, they have all the cable channels and your membership card doubles as a lock for your locker. Those three things aren’t the only things that you get with your 100 bucks.  I’m just listing a couple. 🙂

My new gym has none of those.  You wipe down the machines,  there’s not that many channels to watch and you bring your own lock.  Then again it’s only 10 bucks a month and my bank account likes that.  I think I was just noticing the difference because there are so few things in this world where you pay more and actually receive extra perks for the extra money you pay.  Really, for me, as long as I have my ipod and you have some weights and some cardio equipment, I’m good to go. 🙂
