My roomate’s boyfriend is moving in with us this week.  I’m about to have the cheapest rent I’ve had since I was 18.  Holla.  I’m extremely excited about this because it means I’m gonna have a nice chunk of extra moolah to go towards all the trips I have planned for this year.  Now that is really exciting as far as I’m concerned.  Woot.

I’ve been listening a lot to that Furney & Tayla DnB TV mix.  It’s really good.  Check it out if you haven’t already.

I really like Danny Byrd.  I think his tunes are rowdy enough to get me going and they spice up my set.  He does for me what I’m sure clownstep does for other people.

Sinistarr – Park Avenue
I’ve loved this one for a while.  Really pretty.  Could never find a sample so I never posted it.  It’s out on promo now.  Woot.  Also check out Black Diamonds with Kiat, it’s in both of their players.  Awesomely sexy.

I totally forgot about this one! I really used to love this record. It’s just an overall nice roller to add to your set. Sounds really nice in the mix. I remember that one of the boys in my crew had it and I used to borrow it all the time cuz I couldnt’ track down a copy. Finally a kind soul sold me his copy. Back in the late 90s it wasnt as easy as it is now to just conjure up a copy of a record. I was definitely greatful.

I cleaned out my car yesterday. Well attempted to. What a bloody nightmare! My car isn’t really messy to be honest, it’s just overridden with scratched cd after scratched cd. I decided it was time to get rid of the ones I can’t play so they aren’t just rattling around in my car. Unfortunately I’m still attached to a lot of the cds so I can’t really say that my mission was that successful.

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to put this track in my oldies section. This is seriously one of my most favourite tracks ever. I know that I love to exaggerate but I’m pretty serious when I say this. I coveted this tune for a year before it actually got released. No matter what I always get excited to hear it. I think it’s really pretty and still makes me want to dance when it comes on and I still have constant repeat sessions with it. I think it’s just a very “me” tune and that’s probably why I love it so much.

Yes I’m here.  I was so swamped at work yesterday I couldn’t even write in my blog and you know how that messes with my OCD mind.  Argggh.  My boss has a lot of cases up this month so I’m surprisingly busy.  It doesn’t bother me cuz I don’t mind the work but it definitely is a switch up cuz I usually have a pretty leisurely day balancing my work and playing online.  😉

This was the first movie I saw when I moved to America. I thought it was hilarious… Gimme a break, I was 13.

I think it’s funny that I have that “Thank God It’s Friday” feeling because I’ve seriously done fuck all the whole week. What’s there to be so bloody relieved about? LOL. I am going to continue to be lazy and boring for the rest of the weekend. Hopefully you’ll do the same.

This week has gone by pretty fast and I’ve done absolutely nothing profound to speak of within the past 4 days. I honestly don’t think I’m to blame though. The weather has been grey, cold, rainy and crap and that doesn’t usually incite people to be productive.

I’ve been up for a while. The daylight savings is totally messing with me but I’m not having the same problem others are probably having. I’m just up even earlier so I just hang out for even longer in the morning than usual. Not cool.
