This gorgeous weather is great motivation.  I’ve already done numerous things this a.m., which is quite productive for me.  I know I wake up super early but that doesn’t usually mean I do anything.  LOL.  I usually just lay around and stare at the ceiling thinking about what activities I can do to fill up my day.

Tonight I’ll be going to The Burlington for Flosstradamus’s oldie night.  It’s pretty fun to just have a drink and listen to some Motown music.  I like that night alot.

I need to go get my bike tuned up so I can start riding it again now that it’s nice out. I love riding around the city in nice weather. 🙂

I met Stefano, who is part of the Sun & Bass crew,  a couple of years ago here in Chicago while he was doing some training for his day job.  He is always trying to get us to go and I’ve really wanted to but can’t ever seem to get it sorted.  I’ve reached the stage in my dnb loving where the whole vibe behind Sun & Bass is right up my alley.  The idea of just having a holiday  out in the sun and listening to dnb for a week straight sounds like a dream to me.  Here’s a mini video that’s circling the internets highlighting 2009’s festivities. 🙂

It’s Easter this weekend and I have no plans.  I would drive home but the gas is too much to spend when you have zero dollars and my brother is going to Indiana so he won’t be here.  I’m actually not the least bit bothered by it.  LOL.  If anything it’s just a reminder how unreligious of a person I’ve become even though I spent 12 years in catholic schools. *shrugs*  I will miss out on the yummy food though.  That’s pretty much my fave part about these holidays.  I love grand eating events.  Fortunately there are bunch of good shows this weekend so I’ll at least partake in those. 🙂

So I fixed my laptop.  Yes, I too am shocked.  LOL.  I took it apart.  Read up on some shit.  Asked a friend a couple of questions and voila.  It works.  I can tell you I was nervous as shit taking the thing apart.  I’ve taken stuff apart before and then ended up having to throw whatever it was away cuz I’ve just destroyed it.  Don’t think it was an easy task.  I had to take it apart and put it back together three times before it worked.  I guess third time is the charm.  I am just happy that I don’t have to buy a new one and that I am not having to use that old ass laptop anymore.  Yay.

So me and Daniela went to see Caspa at Smart Bar yesterday.  I like dubstep.  I don’t listen to it as much as dnb but I do enjoy the genre and all its sub categories.  Yesterday I was up for some rowdy party dubstep.  Apparently no one told me and Daniela that it was a 22 year olds only party.  LOL.  I don’t know why I keep being surprised every time I go to his shows.  He has a huge following.  He’s totally grabbed the new ravers crowd.  Me and Daniela were some of the oldest people there.  These kids love him.  Camera phones, autographs, etc.  It’s awesome.  I love watching it but at the same time it’s definitely a reminder that we are old.  It was seriously like a rave in there except we were in a club and it’s 2010.  I had fun nonetheless.  Caspa is  a good dj.  Good times.

Al Roker is a weatherman right?  I swear you would think I’m a meteorologist since all I do is talk about the weather these days but seriously it’s gorgeous out.  I just came in from frolicking around outside…  okay I wasn’t frolicking but I feel like it paints a sunnier picture of how lovely it is outside if I say frolicking.  Bear with me people, the weather is a huge focus for an unemployed person like myself who spends a majority of her time inside her apartment. 😉
